Herbal ash is an indispensable ingredient in high-temperature glazes, and only a few varieties of herbal ash can form glazes on their own, melting into a light green transparent glaze at temperatures around 1330℃.
Drawing decorative patterns on the ceramic body and then applying a layer of transparent glaze, followed by high-temperature firing, each piece is a result of the accumulated skills of skilled artisans over the years.
