
DESCRIPTION
Wuyi Narcissus tea is produced in the Wuyi Mountains area, known for its orchid-like fragrance characteristics. It is highly favored for its sharp and long-lasting aroma, making it a popular choice among tea enthusiasts.
The tea tree of this tea is asexual, small tree-like, large-leaved, and late-flowering variety. Its finished tea leaves are tightly twisted and scout, with even knots, and the tips pf the leaves are twisted, resembling the head of dragonfly.
During the processing of Wuyi Narcissus tea, there are usually seven steps involved: picking, sun-withering, making green, killing green, rolling, and twisting.
Additionally, during the baking of Wuyi Narcissus tea, the temperature should be controlled around 120℃, and the moisture content of the tea leaves should be kept below 5%. This ensures that the tea achieves a state of "long-lasting fragrance, long-lasting mellow taste, gentle nature, and long-lasting freshness."
FEATURES
The tea has a stout appearance with a green-brown color, oily and with hints of preciousness. some leaves show and particles on the back, while the main veins at the leaf base are wide and flat.
It has a strong and sharp fragrance with a distinctive "orchid aroma," a rich and mellow taste, evident throat sensation, and a refreshing aftertaste. The tea soup is thick and vibrant with deep orange-yellow color.

HOW TO BREW
Put and appropriate amount of Wuyi Narcissus tea leaves into the teapot or teacup. It is usually recommended to use 7-8grams of tea leaves per 150 milliliters of water with 90-95℃, and let it steep for 30 secs -1 minute, then pour the tea soup into teacups. Adjust the steeping time according to personal preference. If desired, adjust the taste by adding a suitable amount of water, honey or milk according to personal preference.
NOTICE: Longer steeping times will result in a stronger brew but may also lead to bitterness from over-extraction of the tea leaves.
Wuyi Narcissus tea is traditionally enjoyed without additives to fully appreciate its complex flavors and aromas, adding sugar or milk is a matter of personal preference.
- Adding Sugar: Adding sugar can enhance the tea's natural sweetness and may complement the spicy, orchid notes.
- Adding Milk: Adding milk can create a creamy texture and soften the tea's natural flavors. However, it may mask some of the delicate nuances of Wuyi Narcissus Tea.
