FEATURES
"White tea with jujube aroma" is an aged white tea that develops a jujube-like aroma after being stored for around a year. The longer it is aged, the more pronounced the jujube aroma becomes. To enhance this fragrance, the white tea is often compressed into cakes, which allows for more exposure to air and contributes to the formation of the jujube aroma.
TASTE
The compressed process creates a natural jujube-like aroma that soothes your throat and warms your heart. The reddish tea soup has an authentic pure flavour and a lingering refreshing aftertaste. White teas endure a longer steeping time than other teas, and they don’t expire if stored properly. They taste even more flavourful when brewed with dried foods such as chen pi, dates, goji berries, longan fruits and the others.
EVENT
The traditional tea-making craftsmanship of the white teas from Fuding City of Fujian Province was recognized by the UNESCO as a world intangible cultural heritage in 2011.
