FEATURES
"Aged white peony tea" refers to a naturally withered and stored for three years. "Aged dried tangerine peel" is a traditional sun-dried and naturally aged dried tangerine peel that has been aged for ten years. The "Aged dried tangerine peel" is cut into strips through a special process, mixed naturally in loose tea form, and compressed into blocks for storage. The longer it is aged, the more fragrant and flavorful it becomes.
TASTE
The unique aroma of dried tangerine peels enriches the natural sweetness of the white peony tea and leaves a refreshing note on the palate. White teas endure a longer steeping time than other teas, and they don’t expire if stored properly. They taste even more flavourful when brewed with dried foods such as dates, goji berries, longan fruits and the others.
EVENT
The traditional tea-making craftsmanship of the white teas from Fuding City of Fujian Province was recognized by the UNESCO as a world intangible cultural heritage in 2011.
